Coloured pencils.

[ Thursday, September 23, 2010 @ 3:54 AM ]

I've been playing around with that new Faber-Castell 48-pencil set I got recently, and I've found that it's a lot easier to blend roseate colours than it is to blend blues. If I'm not too lazy I'll start using them on my art assignments and maybe even scan in and post up a few of the pieces I've done.

Today I lost a pen because I lent it to someone and I will be expecting some dang compensation (but with discount lah). I also have to remember to buy another pen now, because that pen was meant to serve as a dark-coloured backup lest I run out of ink in the midst of the exams.

Speaking of exams, I honestly have to get my head around maths and straighten my priorities. I keep on reminding myself that the EOY this year is far too important to be procrastinating on (I even went so far as to set the SOTA webpage as one of my default tabs for motivation) but ... I'm procrastinating on it. OTL

And I just remembered that I wanted to type about the rain today. It's been a while since I'd gotten soaked with rain, and I'm reminded why I questioned Converse long, long (long) ago. I got home with my socks and shoes soaking wet and my bag feeling completely moist. Despite how big and bulky my bag is though, it was still thick enough to hold off the water from actually getting inside and wetting my books and papers, so I'm pretty happy about that. I also got a chance to do a good deed today ~

Revisiting Basshunter as I work on my art prep. Hum. I guess that concludes my update for today.
