[EDIT: Wendy helped out with the codes! Much thanks! We were able to fix a few things that were bugging me and I ended up settling for the font I used in the beginning =w=]

I finagled around with the font - some of my later posts had to have their font manually altered in the past and I can't be bothered to go back and edit them all, so they'll probably look weird on the page until they're bumped down.

SO today I got back my diagnostic test results - and oh god, I passed! 8D I have a few concerns about next year, but the important thing is that I got into Express, and it can't get any worse than what I've already experienced anyway imo. Hope I get along well with my future classmates

And then there's Axis Powers Hetalia lately which I've steadily been getting obsessed with, and I place the blame entirely on Wendy. In retrospect it was only a matter of time, but I never expected I'd collect fanart that fast in such a short amount of time. My Hetalia art folder is already rivaling that of my Soul Eater art folder, and that's saying something.

We also had the Performing Arts combined camp on Thursday and Friday, and I missed Friday's activities because I decided to get sick while I was asleep >___> Thursday was fun though - I liked playing with the markers and drawing on everything. 8D I got to collect signatures on a balloon too.

I want to find more blogs to add to the section on the left. Until then, ta ~


New layout and diagnostic test!

Haha, so I've finally gotten rid of that old ugly layout!

This layout was made from one of Amelia's previous codes that she let me use, so thanks Ameliaaa =D I fiddled about with this for something like a week with help from Wendy and Amelia herself and I'm finally pretty happy about the result.

It isn't the best layout - I feel like the text is a little heavy and congested and the page could feel more ... open, but it's definitely better than that last one. I'll probably tinker with this a bit more.

It's been a long time since I last played with codes, and after this I think I might just try and get back into coding! It'll be fun and nostalgic, but it'll also probably take a while, since I've forgotten almost everything about codes that I knew before.

SO ANYWAY aside from the new layout I also have my upcoming diagnostic test to worry about D8 I've been doing maths questions as practice and I'm trying to wrap my head around all the formulas and shit I have to remember but I just hope I don't royally screw up and score badly tomorrow. I'm still hoping to be transferred into a certain class that will probably require me to have above average results so this test is a pretty big deal for me.

Speaking of which, I should be studying! D:

Or at least it really feels like it. D8 The diagnostic test is roughly 4 days away if I count the time I have left now, and the pressure is going to build up slowly and horribly until I eventually go in to take the test. I'm going to revise like crazy for sure - haven't left the house for outings since the holidays began. D:

I'm a little confused with my art at the moment, which is normal s'far as I know when you're deliberately trying to alter your style. My sketchbook doesn't have much life to it I'm 'fraid, as compared to one of my older ones, so I'm trying to work on that too.

So I have tuition in almost an hour, and while the tutor seems competent so far I'm starting to get really pissed off at maths, which won't work to my advantage. I seriously think I'd find maths fun (at the very least, having to look at a question in different angles is intriguing) only I suck at it and no one likes things they suck at.

My music playlist is also starting to sound a little old, even with the addition of like six new songs over the past week. o___o I've been turning back to iTunes because listening to music on that player feels better (idk) than listening to songs on Youtube somehow. Also it loads faster.
I probably need to find another music source from which to download mp3s. I'm not touching the previous site I used, because although it was good, I think it screwed up my previous laptop.

On the other hand, I've got a bunch of new artists from which to draw inspiration from, one of which I'm really quite obsessed about. http://phobs.deviantart.com/ - I originally thought the artist was female, and was pretty surprised when I found out he wasn't - search me why. All I know is that his is the most elegant, gorgeous and vibrant art style I've discovered in a very long time and I'm in love with it. <3>___> I hope it goes smoothly today. Whew, writing feels good.
